Mahkota Parade was designed to be in a one-stop shopping destination not only for the whole state of Melaka but also act as a regional attraction for the neighbouring states.

The straight forward internal planning features two parallel malls with anchor tenants, and attractions on each end of three levels. The main atrium at the centre acts as a reference point as well as the main vertical circulation core.

The design intention is to create a shopping mall that has a resort feel but yet responding to the surrounding context which has historical significance and heritage.
