The external facade has been kept plain to provide a simple backdrop, in keeping with the surrounding residential environment, and for easier interfacing with any extensions in the future.
The smooth and simple treatment provides a neutral background which does not conflict with but emphasises on the billboards that the various tenants have on display.
The stepped landscaped terraces, on either side, soften the structure and reduce the building mass by bringing it down to the scale of the surrounding residential environment.
