Datuk Ezumi Harzani Ismail

Director

Datuk Ezumi Harzani is the President of Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia (PAM) for four terms (2017, 2018, 2020 and 2021) and a board member of Board of Architects Malaysia (LAM). He is also the Chairman of Green Building Index Sdn Bhd, an entity established under PAM and ACEM for implementation of green and sustainable development rating tools, and he was appointed as the Advisory Board member of Kuala Lumpur City Hall for four consecutive years from 2015 to 2019.
He was appointed as a member of the Council of Architecture Accreditation and Education Malaysia from 2010-2019, a member of the Focus Group in Dealing with Construction Permit (FGDCP) formed under PEMUDAH since 2012 and the chairman of Architect Centre Sdn Bhd since 2017. He has presented more than 50 papers at national and international forums in relation to architecture and built environment.
In architecture practice, he is a Director at Arkitek MAA Sdn Bhd leading a team involve in implementation of various portfolios including hospitals, residentials, office buildings and hotels.
He is also the recipient of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) President’s Medal in 2019. He graduated with Bachelor of Housing, Building and Planning, and Bachelor of Architecture from University of Science Malaysia, and Master of Philosophy (Policy Studies) from University of Technology Malaysia.
